hairstyle tutorial hey guys! in the video "all about my hair" i've already revealed that when i have a bad hair day i just tie up my hair that's always a great solution and i also like to do that when i work out therefore i wanna show you today my two favorite hairstyles one of them is a braid hairstyle and the other one is a twist hairstyle first of all you should choose your "chocolate side" most people have a favorite side on them where they also prefer being photographed for instance in my case it is the left side, therefore, i'm going to do my braid on the left side today

what you initially do is that you make a side parting so that the hairstyle becomes a bit thicker i take a single-stem comb that's always quite convenient but of course you may also take any other comb it still looks a bit wild... but that's exacly how it should look like so, for the first hairstyle we braid the hair after having done the side parting you take a small strand and divide it into three parts because we're doing a dutch braid i braid from the outer strand to the inner strand this means i lay the lower strands below the middle strand

after being done i always add outer hair then i do the same with this strand and that's what we keep on doing: we always add a bit outer hair also ensure that your braid is braided a bit behind your head because we want that it is later braided behind the head otherwise it would fall into your face like said pay attention to braiding your hair behind your head and here i'm adding another strand

when you've reached approx. your ear pull your braid a bit so that it is braided behind your ear then look out that to every strand also take the hair behind your ear you add some hair this means that in the end you have three large strands and you do this by dividing the hair into three parts this part isn't so easy but that's no problem if you don't manage to do it right in the beginning

then you just open the braid until here and try as much as you can so.... now i have three approx. equal parts and i'm braiding these regularly like i did above this braid is characterized by not being so perfect hence, if it doesn't look super perfect then it's exactly how we want it then i put a transparent hair tie in my hair you can also find in the info box where i got these these are quite handy but of course you may also use a regular hair tie

and now i have a trick for you guys this already doesn't look so bad but it looks even better if you make it a bit more voluminous and you can do that quite easily by pulling a bit on your braid through this your braid becomes optically a bit more voluminous it's best to start on top and pull the strands a bit and now you do this from top to bottom we do the same down here

and as you can see our first hairstyle is now ready and now i'm showing you how to do a twist hairstyle it's even easier to make it then the last one the good thing about the second hairstyle is that you don't need to be a braiding pro because all you have to do is twist again you start by taking a relatively small strand like before and now you divide it into two strands not like in three like before and then you just twist those two strands a few times to the right

and then you take the lower strand over the upper strand so... the first thing is now done now for the lower strand you add a bit hair and now you twist this one or two times to the right then you take it to the left and there is already your twist and now you continue like this you add a bit hair then you twist it to the right then to the left

that's exactly how you proceed: you take a bit hair twist it twice to the right then add it over to the left so... you do it like that here again take a bit hair once to the left and then you can see the "cord effect" again add a bit hair.... twice to the right and once to the left

and now you keep on twisting until you've reached approx. the height of your head when you are approx. at the height of your ear you do exactly what you did before: you divide your hair into three strands and now you braid them exactly like you did before when you've reaching the end you can again use another clear hair tie when you want you can now loosen the braid a bit again however, i wouldn't do it as much as before with the dutch braid i would just pull a tiny bit here

so it becomes a bit more loose and here you can do it like you did before and like you can see this braid only took like two minutes or so and that's really a great hairstyle when you have little time and still have a bad hair day and wanna look nice thank you so much for watching!

hey guys... today i can finally show you my tutorial... for this curls or waves. and if you are interested in getting to know... ...how i create this look... ... stay tuned in. before you start working with heat on your hair ... i would recommend you to use ... ... a good heat protection for your hair.

for my weaves i used ... ... "l' oreal - hot and curl spray" i got from dm. you simply spray the product in your slightly wet hair ... ... blow-dry it afterwards... ... and start working with a curling iron in the end. for a better and cleaner result... ...please comb your hair before you start working with it. after that i always split my hair in a few smaller parts. this prevents you...

from forgetting to curl a single wisp of hair accidentally. with this technique all hair will be curled evenly. i personally use this curling iron ... ... without the "gripper-part" you probably know ... this is good for the look we want to create ... ... because this makes different looking curls... ... i will show you in alittle while. with this iron from "bellamihair" you get a glove. it doesn't have to be an iron from this brand.

you can get those without a gripper-part ... ... in any consumer electronics retailer ... ... or at hairdressers. just keep your eyes open. the only impotant aspect you have to care about ... ... is the iron's calibre. there are irons with small and large calibre. depending on which calibre you choose, your curls get more ore less extreme. i chose a middle sized iron ...

... with a calibre of about 2,5 cm. if you want to begin, please slip on your glove... ... because without you will definately burn your hands. the i start with the first wisp of hair. don't make it to thik or thin ... ... for getting a nice and even curl. i start at this point and turn my hair to the outside. always off your face ... ... because when your hair falls in front...

... and over your face... ... it doesn't look like a lion's mane any longer. start here and turn it around the iron. i can show it to you a little nearer now. you take the wisp, hold it strong and twirl it around. don't do it like you know it from a regular curling iron: don't twist it around the iron ... "flat" like this! because the result will be very different curls. this is what we do not want to reach this time.

additionally it is easier... ...to do it the way i showed you before. ... without twist the hair flat around the iron... please remember: especially the wisps in front... ... have do be twisted outside, away from your face. this way round... ... and not that way. otherwise the curl will turn to the front...

... and there won't be enaugh volume. when you finished all your curls... ... take a hand mirror... ... and stand with another mirror in your back ... ... to contol if you really curled all hair around your head. wouldn't be so nice to leave out a big, long wisp. so remember to check the curls on your back... ... before you leave. maybe you are thinking now:

"i haven't seen her with those kind of curles before." this is a matter of taste more or less. i personaly think... ... those kind of curles are terrible. ... and don't look very professional. you may ask yourself: "how does she create this great, big waves?" blow-drying? hair roller?... how does she do it? that's what i asked myself before..

when i saw styles like this in magazines... ... i thought "this looks so good... ... i do not want curles, just big waves... ... and a lot of volume." this is not impossible! the only thing you need is a brush. so after you curled your, just brush it copious. yeah.... so ... you can clearly see the difference now!

i like this so muuuuuuch more! i think it also brings more brilliance to your hair. and more volume! what dangles down on this side ... ... makes "wush" on that side. therefore you just have to brush your hair. my ultimate hack for graet volume: this "l'oreal - fix and style fixing varnish" spray. it's without gas, just with a pump cone.

for me it's like a miracle cure... ... and costs just a few euros at "dm". super good! i show you the effect from one side to the other. just spray it on your hair... ... and dispose it a bit. now you can even bring single curles in shape, like this. now you see the reason... ... for curling your hair to the outside before.

if we had done it the other way... ... the curles would fall into your face now. i just hold the curles where i want them... ...and fix them with spray... ... so they stay where i would like to have them. also dispose a bit of spray on your hairline. i push it up a little bit... ... for creating a good looking wave next to my face. here you can see the side where i used the spray.

and the other side without... i think you can see a real difference. the waves look a bit more fluffy... ... and got more volume in comparison. so this was my curling-routine... ... or let's say "big waves-volume tutorial" :d i hope you liked it... ... and if that's the case you can use this hashtag... ... for the fotos you make to this look.

that helps me to see your creations. otherwise it's more fortune if i see your pics or not. and that is a pity, because i want to see your looks. so finally ... have a nice day... ...and see you next time! and don't forget "thumbs up"! ;)

cool girls braids and styles presents the so so wanted hair routine! hi and hello! here i am again,iâ´m mavie! today weâ´ll show you the so so requested hair routine of mine! usually i only wash my hair once or twice a week

but for you i have done it today.... so letâ´s get started!!! so first of all get your hair wet...... and mavie uses the nutri care shampoo from alverde, itâ´s all natural! itâ´s without silicone or other chemical ingredients but be prepared the natural shampoos donâ´t make such a big foam but therefore they are also not so agressive to your hair mavie only apllies a little bit of shampoo on the top of her head itâ´s not necessary to put the shampoo all over your hair

when you rinse it off, the shampoo comes down to clear also the ends.... afterwards mavie uses the conditioner from alverde also from the nutricare series she really needs a lot because of the lenghts of her hair but only applies the conditioner in the lenghts of her hair every third hair wash mavie takes instead of the conditioner a hair mask itâ´s the aloe vera hair mask from alverde we also had the shampoo from this serie, and liked it ,too

but mavieâ´s brothes didnâ´t want to use a shampoo from a red flower brand and as i, mom, didnâ´t want to have so many different shampoos staying around in the bath we all take the shampoo from the yellow serie. so, while the conditioner is working, mavie can use the showergel so and now rinse off everything!! afterwards we make a turban with a towel so that the hair can dry a little bit but more than 10 minutes the turban doesnâ´t stay in place at mavie..... before we brush the hair we use a detangler from alverde

but be careful, if you have greasy hair, it might become too oily therefore you should better take the green detangler for fine hair. we also use this quite a lot to detangle the hair after braiding it works really well! we start at the ends with a big comb and we work up our way higher to the top afterwards we use a tangle teezer to brush all the hair it works so well to detangle and runs very easily through the hair

and i also like that itâ´s so easy to clean, just rinse off with some soap and water once a month we cut off the ends and we have our own special method of trimming the ends so every real hairdresser should better look away now, haha but it works fine with us.... you comb back all of your hair, and tie with an elastic in the middle of your neck then brush again so that you donâ´t have any knots and then at the very end

tie off again comb the ends with an fine comb and then cut of as much as you want to with hair scissors now we take 2 or 3 drops of the alverde argan hair ã¶l and apply it to the ends and in about the last third of the hair if you have oily or very fine hair i would recommend you to apply the hair oil overnight before washing your hair

so that you can wash it out the next day because it smoothes the hair really really well but still oily and your hair shouldnâ´t look greasy after washing now we blow dry.... in winter time we always blow dry the hair because it would take hours to let them dry.... but if you can, leave your hair drying without heat as often as possible! or blow dry on the lowest level the less heat the better it is! so now enjoy your long shiny hair!!!

cool girls, braids and hairstyles, festive bow hey there! it's me again, mavie! today we're going to show you how you can easily make a festive bow. let's start! so for the bow you need a topsy tail. you can get it from dm for 2 euros. or you check out ebay or claire's, they have them too. we made a half high pony tail. just take a few hair and tie them together

and now you split the strand in the middle. take your topsy tail and tuck it in. put the ends through the loop. and now pull your topsy tail down. you have to hold on your loop. so that it stays. now you have the first half of your bow. afterwards we can fan it out a little bit. now you tuck your topsy tail on the other side in.

and take the other half of your pony tail and put it through the loop. and pull the strand through and hold on your loop so that it stays. now you can start to fan it a bit so that the bow will get bigger. if you want to brush your hair you must be careful. hold on your bow so that you won't destroy it. now you can fan our bow. and then take a small hair pin and secure your bow. do the same on the other side. and then use a bit hairspray so that the flying hair won't stick out. if you are in a hurry you are finished now.

but if you like you can now create the middle part of your bow. for that you grab a strand of hair. tuck your topsy tail in between the loops. put the strand in and then pull. now you have made the middle part of your bow. if you want to make the hairstyle look more festive you can grab the ends. it would be beautiful if they would look like the ends of a present wrapping bow which twist a bit. just take a small strand and you can curl them with straighteners. or with a curling iron.

yeah i thought that the ends would curl a bit. if you have shorter hair you would have curly strands now. with mavie's long hair it's difficult to get real curls. they are so smooth, they don't like to be curled. yeah, and your festive bow is finished! and if you liked this video please give me a thumbs up! good bye!

make a curly head out of some straight hair? impossible? we need freshly washed hair use a shampoo which doesn't include any smoothing components. your hair should not be weighted. after you have washed your hair you shouldn't use any mousse or similar foam products. blow dry your hair as we actually need dry hair. brush your hair properly.

now we prepare our aluminium curler. whether your hair is long or thick you need more or less of the aluminum curlers. rip off a piece of the aluminium foil sized like a din a4 paper and fold the sharp borders to the inside. then you fold this piece as far as it gets and press it into a round form. then you cut through the piece of curler into half and then again into half. for the next step you part your hair as you want to.

and the work begins... take a small hank as thinner the hank is the smaller the curls get. also the hair volume gets bigger. wrap your hair as close as it gets around the curler. it's very important that the hair gets wrapped accurate around the curler otherwise you've got problems with opening the curlers. you have to turn the curler as near as it gets to the head so that the curl directly starts on the skin.

at the beginning it might be a bit difficult but after a few tries it will get easier. you continue with every single hank on the whole head. take your time for preparation as it will take a few hours. if you want to do this for an event i would recommend that you already start in the midday, so you don't get under pressure and the curls get pretty and last all night long. when you have filled your whole hair with the curlers the boring part begins. blow dry the curlers on a warm level until you feel that the curlers get warm. attention: not too hot and not too long. this could give you a headache. after the curlers got really warm, please let them cool down again until they're really cold.

in the meantime, do whatever you like. you'll have loads of time. repeat the warming up and cooling down again and again. over a time of 2-3 hours. the more often you do that procedure the better the curls get. when they cool down for the last time, you open a test curl and have a look how the curl looks like. when it looks how you want it, you better begin in the lower part to open the curlers. spin the curl out and divide it in the middle, then tease the roots of the hair carefully. some are more curly, some are less curly. but this makes the natural look. when you have opened all curlers, the fun part begins.

leave you hair open or closed, with curls you'll have a lot of opportunities. please remember that the curls will hang loose after a while, but if the curls are already too extreme from the beginning you can also use a hairdryer to make them more loose. have fun with your curly curl hair!

sisi’s bridal coiffureromantic hairstyle for long hair empress elisabeth was famous for her magnificent head of hair. she had extremely long, dark hair with a natural wave. at the time of her marriage, as was fashionable in the 1850s, she had a middle parting with her hair fastened loosely at the side over the ears and two heavy plaits coiled into a chignon at the nape of her neck. elisabeth’s hair weighed around 4-5 kg, and she had to adopt a posture rather like a dancer, since this is a considerable weight for the neck and head to support.

first we make a middle parting, then we divide the hair into sections and brush each of these out thoroughly. then at the front we twist it into a proper pleat and secure it with a clip so that it makes a nice frame for the face. then we brush out the rest of the hair and divide it for the plaits. i’m doing it in four sections,

although i think elisabeth’s hairstyle would have been done in two. i’m making four plaits because it’s easier when dealing with this length of hair and it will hold better. that’s all the plaits done. now we have to make sure the ends are tucked well away. i’m just doing the last coil, winding it round, and now we’re finished. ok? have a look in the mirror.

all right? of course elisabeth took especial care of her hair, using rather unusual substances such as egg, cognac or certain hair tonics, which made her hair very shiny. we still have her recipes, and you can make the various shampoos and care products she used back then. one important ingredient was egg-yolk; here’s a recipe for a shampoo with two egg-yolks, 30 ml cognac and a little cider vinegar.

the vinegar is for rinsing, when the hair was rinsed in warm water. we know that elisabeth dyed her hair. for this she used henna, and we also have a recipe here: one packet of henna mixed with fresh milk and an egg-yolk, which gave her hair its lustrous dark chestnut colour. there’s a whole range of different things we know were used during those times and which are being used again today, as they are natural products that are extremely good for the hair. curator, sisi museum

so that you can wash it out the next day because it smoothes the hair really really well but still oily and your hair shouldnâ´t look greasy after washing now we blow dry.... in winter time we always blow dry the hair because it would take hours to let them dry.... but if you can, leave your hair drying without heat as often as possible! or blow dry on the lowest level the less heat the better it is! so now enjoy your long shiny hair!!!

sisi’s bridal coiffureromantic hairstyle for long hair empress elisabeth was famous for her magnificent head of hair. she had extremely long, dark hair with a natural wave. at the time of her marriage, as was fashionable in the 1850s, she had a middle parting with her hair fastened loosely at the side over the ears and two heavy plaits coiled into a chignon at the nape of her neck. elisabeth’s hair weighed around 4-5 kg, and she had to adopt a posture rather like a dancer, since this is a considerable weight for the neck and head to support.

first we make a middle parting, then we divide the hair into sections and brush each of these out thoroughly. then at the front we twist it into a proper pleat and secure it with a clip so that it makes a nice frame for the face. then we brush out the rest of the hair and divide it for the plaits. i’m doing it in four sections,

although i think elisabeth’s hairstyle would have been done in two. i’m making four plaits because it’s easier when dealing with this length of hair and it will hold better. that’s all the plaits done. now we have to make sure the ends are tucked well away. i’m just doing the last coil, winding it round, and now we’re finished. ok? have a look in the mirror.

all right? of course elisabeth took especial care of her hair, using rather unusual substances such as egg, cognac or certain hair tonics, which made her hair very shiny. we still have her recipes, and you can make the various shampoos and care products she used back then. one important ingredient was egg-yolk; here’s a recipe for a shampoo with two egg-yolks, 30 ml cognac and a little cider vinegar.

the vinegar is for rinsing, when the hair was rinsed in warm water. we know that elisabeth dyed her hair. for this she used henna, and we also have a recipe here: one packet of henna mixed with fresh milk and an egg-yolk, which gave her hair its lustrous dark chestnut colour. there’s a whole range of different things we know were used during those times and which are being used again today, as they are natural products that are extremely good for the hair. curator, sisi museum
